Technique:
Pâte de verre / Lost-wax glass casting
Each piece is handcrafted through the lost-wax glass casting process and refined by cold polishing.
The form begins as a clay model, from which a wax replica is made and encased in a plaster mold. When the wax is melted away, glass fragments are placed into the cavity and fired in the kiln.
Through heat, the solid glass slowly turns fluid, tracing the shape left by the wax. As it cools, bubbles and subtle flows appear — quiet records of air, fire, and time.
